Somehow, after a snowy winter and what seemed like 2 months of rain, summer showed up in Maine in late August. It was perfect timing for Maine Fiddle Camp, which was a great time for all the staff and campers who made the trip to Montville, ME.

If you’ve never been, I highly recommend it. The staff are fantastic (biased perhaps), the food is delicious, and the music and friends are the best. Workshops are available for fiddle, guitar, cello, mandolin, banjo, whistle, piano, bass, and accordion. The staff are mostly from around the great state of Maine, with instructors from Quebec (Guy Bouchard, Eric Favreau, and Laura Sadowsky) and places elsewhere.
