Rumblestrip
Rumblestrip plays for monthly dances in Falmouth, ME and Rehoboth, MA, and also tours to other parts of the country for dance weekends and festivals. Nat is a driving fiddler who also can crank out blues leads on guitar, banjo, and sometimes, steel drum. Liza’s guitar playing draws on swing, blues, and old time music, and she’s also a fantastic singer. With Nat’s swingy fiddle playing we can also play blues and swing numbers for dances and events.

Frigate
Frigate (the ship, not the epithet) is a trio based in Maine that rocks dances all over the state. Steve teaches in the Farmington schools and was named Maine Music Educator of the year in 2007. Fred has played his “drums and bass” style guitar in bands from D.C. to Maine. If you hang out by the stage, maybe you’ll get to hear Steve tell a joke…. :

Calliope

Calliope is the frequent houseband for the North Whitefield dance. With two fiddles and David’s creative drop-D guitar playing, we get a rich powerful sound that lifts the dancers.
